Goal race: Boston
Goal time: 2:48

This week was very low volume (60 miles) due to huge work commitments that i knew about in advance. So I just planned it as a 'recovery' week. Finished with a half marathon this morning and was totally flat. Ran a disappointing 1:21 and really thought I had a much better race in me. It was hilly though so got some good Boston simulation. Lots of work to do before Hopkinton!

Mon - 4-mile recovery after hilly 22-miler with 17 @ 6:20 pace the day before
Tue - 5-mile moderate
Wed - 9-mile tempo
Thu - 9-mile easy
Fri - 12-mile hilly with sprints on the uphills and tempo pace on the downs
Sat - 8-mile easy
Sun - 13-mile race debacle (probably affected by the long hardish effort on the prior Sunday)
