i dont really think there is such a thing as a biomechanist. if you want to work in biomechanics, you would probably want to study something like kinesiology, exercise science, physiology, etc in school then look for that type of job in a sports place.

if you like mechanics and how they relate to the body, do mechanical engineering then look at jobs in performance labs and stuff. that way you will have a lot more options as a mechanical engineer if things fall through than you would have had as a kinesiology major.
