You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: Neliah2507: Subject: RE: Best Physical Therapist in CT? Body: Hi asdjsadj, I realize you are inquiring specifically about physical therapy, but have you seen an orthopedic specialist yet? If you have been that conservative with your recovery and easing back into running that history reeks of an underlying joint problem that's yet to be identified. I am totally with you in terms of not being able to find a competent doctor/PT and getting vague diagnoses (i.e. calf strain/hamstring strain). With your specific issue, you need someone who can explain why your leg is literally hurt crossing all 3 major joints (hip, knee, and ankle). That is a problem. If you are willing, I may have a contact or two for you in NYC (am good friends with a PT out of one of the top orthopedic hospitals in the US there). Even if you choose not to go there he may have a list of contacts closer to your area that are reliable. If you have good insurance though I would suggest that hospital because they deal a lot with athletes and have some of the best imaging in the world in terms of diagnosing joint issues. Let me know if you are interested...that is a long time to be injured. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
