I saw him as a typical young black guy from the city running track in Eugene , Oregon- a young black athlete in a white environment. He was somewhat out of his element but was trying to fit it, albeit not always successfully- like any young guy, he was proud to show me pics of his gal Flo-jo. We talked about a lot of things, but he was a normal kid with great talent on the track. Off the track? Well, I think he got bored with regular life and just fell in with a hard crowd and eventually just fell back into his gang life. He tried another way but it just did not suit him. Where is he now?
