Subject: Marathon Training Thread Week Ending 3/4

Didn't see another thread so I figured I would start 'er up.
Goal Race - Boston (and Carlsbad 5000 2 weeks prior)
Goal Time - 2:4X:XX (sub 16:50 PR)


M - 11
T - AM 7 PM 10 w/ 5x 1mile in 5:37/35/33/35/33 on 9 min cycle
W - AM 15 PM 5 w/ weights/core
T - AM 6 PM 9 w/ 4 mile tempo @ 5:50 ish pace
F - 12
S- 10
S - 10 w/ mediocre 10k in 36:30 for 5th overall. Felt sluggish the whole way, but I won a 1 hour massage out of the deal.

Total for the week - 95 miles /10 runs.
I felt fatigued by the time I toed the line today, but oh well. I had a pretty awesome week of training, very happy to have my mileage back up in the range I want it. Next 3 weeks will be marathon specific workouts on Sat/Sun
