HSI was kicked off the UCLA track a few years ago because John Smith was no longer involved with the UCLA track team, and they ended up moving to WLACC. From the strange but true side, Valerie Brisco (you might remember her as Brisco-Hooks), the 200 & 400 gold medalist in '84 and Kersee's assistant, has been coaching CROSS COUNTRY at WLACC.
