To clarify: by collegiates I mean anyone good enough/motivated enough to run in college, whether past or present. There are a surprising amount of kids from my tiny home state who have gone on to run in the 14s for 5k after high school, enough to make me definitely believe how many really fast people are on here.

It's like going to a major online weight lifting forum and asking how many of them can bench 315 or deadlift 500. It's way more than you want to believe at first, but it's those diehard participants that are going to get geeky with each other on websites sharing dumb stats like these.
