I do barbell squats 3 times per week. It's all about perfect form. If your form is perfect, you will not need to worry about hurting your back. One tip, I always do barbell squats in my socks (shoes off). Always push off your heels and go parallel or slightly below.

(the 3rd video is a chick starts at 135 lbs and goes up to 225lbs, are you gonna let a chick do more weight than you???)


Are you sure about that middle one? Watching that one kind of made my back hurt on those last couple reps!

I heard the thing about pushing off from your heels. I tried to keep that in mind when I was lifting. How wide do you position your feet, and where should your toes point?
