If you were there you should know some details. Was it common to have that high level of competition at a meet at Pierce Junior College during that time period?

Were there any all weather tracks at the time in that area? I know it is impossible to guess what a time on a dirt track would translate to an all weather track but sub 4 on a old dirt track is damn fast.
