I go to LR for entertainment--and some threads on training for Old People like me. Otherwise, I don't take it too seriously. I'm not fast, but in my early 60s so it's not like I feel obliged to run 5something pace--I shoot goals that are realistic for me.

Main thing is, as others said, if you enjoy it keep at it. Your body is thanking you for the cardio and other benefits. That becomes more and more valuable as you get older and others your age sit in rocking chairs, wheeze when they walk, and tell you you'll wreck your knees with all that running--while you look 20 years younger than they do.
