For a short time, I was hoping this was a joke. I already boycott Competitor events--thanks for yet another reason. On my OW swims, had any of the boats had bands, I'd either try to swim underwater (which wouldn't last long--my underwater drills have never been too great) or veer WAY off course. I don't do tri's--just stand-alone swims and stand-alone runs and sometimes swim/run events. Please, Competitor, don't give other swim organizers any ideas!
