Body: London 2006 - Lagat ran a mid-51 final lap in the 5000m to beat Bekele. The timer says the last lap was 51.94, however that was Bekele leading through the line with Lagat trailing in second or third place. Athens 2004 - El Guerrouj ran a mid-52 final lap to beat Bekele in the 5000m final. Athens 2004 - Bekele ran a solo 53.02 last lap to get the gold in the 10,000m.
