Thanks everyone. Yes, the sprinting is always an issue. How much?

10 X 30s does seem excessive. But these are not all out.

UPDATE: we did 3 X mile with 1 min rest at progressive tempo pace. She did 7:00, 6:49, 6:21. Never felt taxed or "pushing it".

I wanted to tap into a little aerobic threshold one last time. Her reaction was "that's it?" That was the reaction I wanted.

I really will not let go of the 200's at pace. As long as they are with full rest, they should et her thinking about pace.

She isn't going to win states, so I want her to stay away from strategy and try to even pace this race.
