You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: cyhawk Subject: RE: Marathon training thread -Week ending 2/19 Body: Goal: Boston sub-2:50 Next Race: Hyannis Half Next Sunday M: 6mi Easy T: 7mi Easy W: 12mi w/ 8x1k interval, 90s rest (interval at 10.2mph/1% incl) T: Off (planned) F: 8mi Easy S: 19mi w/ 16 @ 6:41 on Boston course, through parts of Wellesley and Newton Hills (out and back) S: 10mi Easy Total: 62 Very pleased with Saturday's run. It wasn't particularly hard and I ran faster as I went along. Trying to decide my goal for next weekend's half. My PR is 1:19:40 . . . I think that may be a stretch, especially considering Hyannis doesn't tend to be a really fast race. Will probably look for a group going out between 6 and 6:10 pace and try to do some drafting early, then see what I've got later in the race.
