You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: heres the deal yo Subject: RE: Slightly Overweight College Runner Body: people are stupid and have no facts to back up their statements. i am similar in build and times 5'10 158 lbs. if i lose weight, as a college coach once suggested, i run slower. a good friend of mine is 5'10 168 lbs. yes 168 pounds. he runs 14:12 for the 5k. he once lost 10 lbs, but was so weak that he couldnt break 15. he put weight back on, and thats when he ran 14:30, 14:24, and 14:12. dont listen to peoples bullshit. if you feel worse trying to lose weight, then dont do it. there is no point. if you feel better, then keep doing it.
