No one here is going to know you well enough to know if losing any weight will help you or not. Just going off your height/weight, losing a few pounds could help you, but it may do nothing and might even make things worse. Also, I wouldn't put any faith in that 2 sec/mile for every pound lost thing. Simply losing 10 pounds isn't going to make you a sub-14 guy, nor is it going to significantly help the average skinny runner. What you've done in the past has seemed to work for you so far, so just keep up the training and you will probably lower your PRs. Just run, baby. Good luck.
