Why? Guys can drop 52-53 second at end of 10,000m races (so 50 seconds for the second lap of an 800 isn't unreasonable off of a 65) and I have seen national championship 1500 races go out in 2:11 so it is not unreasonable to assume that this meet went out slow as well. Obviously, it did seem ridiculous that a pro would race like that outside of a championship so I watched the video. I'm sorry I didn't pick up the sarcasm from an casual read through of a forum.
Also, why would you use idiotic? You should have said "an idiot" or "being idiotic". If you are going to attack my general intelligence than at least get it right yourself.
