You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: ShortForTheRazor Subject: RE: SUNYAC Track and Field 2011-2012 Body: As a Suny G alum who bleeds blue and follows everything they do now that I'm out, Cortland scares me. They really improved this fall and have some legit middle distance kids who can run with Geneseo. The Indoor Sunyacs will be a much anticipated distance showdown. My boys in blue have a great amount of depth though. Just look at that outdoor performance list from last spring and see most all of them are back from the 800 on up. I still get pissed though when I look and see that our sprint coaches get no sprinters in - ever. Oh to have Buff State standards! Oh to have coaches who go out and recruit like Woodsie does.[/quote] While Geneseo's sprints have always been really weak, you can't blame their coaches entirely for the lack of solid sprint recruits. What decent high school sprinter would want to go train there? No indoor facility to speak of, no real tradition of successful sprinters, and they don't go to the banked tracks that Buff State does more often.
