I'm a NYC native and I don't know where I sit on this issue.

Of course, I would love to have an awesome kick-ass meet at the Garden every year, and I'm somehow disappointed that the world's best rarely show up. The best races are often the highschool races (the 4x4s especially!).

On the one hand, MSG was never full, and I always wondered how they made money (advertising on TV?). The nosebleed seats for the high school kids were practically free (or were they completely free?) and that was the only crowded section.

On the other hand, I think the Armory has too few seats -- I doubt the high school kids alone will fit in there, so you're going to have to exclude some people.

In the end, I think having it in MSG elevated it to a special level.
