I can't wait to hear what happens with the treatment. Or, more accurately, how you feel 2-3 days later, because a first treatment can often be quite depressing when you realise how lumpy and painful your legs are...

It's good that you are doing strength work. You don't want to lose any of that leg muscle. This is probably a good time to work on fairly heavy (but low-impact) leg exercises a couple of times a week, as this is good for muscle health and a lot easier to do when you aren't running hard.

My cold seems to be pretty much better now. I did 3 miles in 5:30ish during a run on Tuesday as a 'test drive'; then a session today with 10x600 [200 jog] between 75 and 72 pace; a bit of coughing in the recoveries, but I'm pretty happy. Now I also need to focus on the little stuff a bit more - gym work, hills, strides, drills, speed development - as they haven't really happened in April with the illness, travel and concrete surfaces.
