ID, how's the diet going? Are you managing to lose more weight?

I've been going back and forth a bit - dropped 2lb then regained it while sick.

Before my cold I seemed to hit on a really good pattern, but it won't help you much as it involves running. I did some longer runs in the morning (e.g. 11mi = 1200 cals), replaced most of the carbs but not all the calories with breakfast, generally ate sensibly during the day, did a short run home, and then had a good 1500 calories left in my 'budget' for the evening, allowing for a decent dinner and a late night snack.

Any other routine seems to leave me being ravenous in the evening and unable to get to sleep (assuming I'm on a 500 cal deficit), and even if I did have an iron will (which I don't), lying there awake until 3am and doing everything badly the next day is not worth it. Unfortunately trying to diet while not running much (e.g. with the cold) causes much the same problem, as 1600 calories just doesn't feel like enough and I can't sleep.

Pretty much back to proper training now; I'm hoping to avoid falling off the wagon for 2 more weeks.
