Not sure why this confusion has ensued, I'm pretty sure that everyone was clear that Komen has, at times, run under "Daniel Komen" (like when he ran 7:20) and under "Daniel Kipchirchir Komen" (like when he ran 3:29 a few years later). Sometimes I use my middle name, sometimes I don't. You guys sound like the conspiracy theorists who were trying to say two Robert "Kipwhatever" Cheruiyots won the Boston Marathon.
