You are reporting the following post to the moderators for review and possible removal from the forum Poster: Boone2Boone Subject: RE: 2010 SoCon Cross Country Body: I did not mean Furman was getting worse, they are not placing as high as they once did. The conference is getting better. Look at the numbers: 5 yrs before: 2004- 3'rd, 2 All Conf 1'st team 2005-3'rd, 2 All Conf 1'st team 2006-2'nd, 2 All Conf 1'st team 2007-3'rd, 1 All Conf 1'st team 2008-3'rd, 2 All Conf 1'st team, 1 2'nd team Last 2 years 2009-6'th, 1 All Conf 2'nd team 2010-5'th, 1 All Conf 1'st team Just looking at numbers, no harm meant and I don't know new dist coach. I just recall the bashing of the head coach on here for years when they were placing a lot higher and thought that the new distance guy would improve them. Maybe they will the next few years, but losing McGoogan will hurt. Time will tell. Info found here: http://www.soconsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=4000&ATCLID=202563 As far as regional THIS year: App and UNCG have good chances to be in the top 10, Kiwa might make it through which would be great for the SoCon!
