Body: my 2 cents... i work for a division of comcast and get free cable. actually, just pay taxes, so it's like $7 bucks a month. i lived in a building in chi that was only rcn. i paid like 125 a month for basic tv and internet. rcns service is hands down better than comcast. however, the product itself isnt even worth discussing. comcast is 10x better than rcn/dish/directtv, etc. their service may suck and their prices might be a little higher, but the product delivered is way better. not sure that helps at all. if you're worried about money, switch. but for the extra 20-40 bucks a month, i think you're getting a lot more value over the competitors. but still, call and complain. sounds dumb, but it does work. even lie and say it hasnt been working, or you know a guy getting a better rate. but if you call and complain, they may reduce your monthly cost a little. it costs them about 20 cents a month to provide you cable/internet, so they dont want to lose you.
