I will, however, say that it is a far cry from the 1:43 he ran just 3 years ago. Clearly he is not ready to race and it must have shown in practice. I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind taking an American Record Holder over to England to run 1:52 in the 800. Shouldn't we be a bit more cautious during a non-championship year with someone who has been hurt for over 2 years? Wouldn't it be more productive to focus getting his training back up to a higher level and improving mechanical weaknesses? Or is it more important for Galen to have a workout buddy?
