Body: No. Great sprinting is about head-to-head matchups, when they matter--i.e. at big meets like the Olympics. Ben vs Carl was the best by far, and will be difficult to top. They could duck each other because it was an Olympic year, but in a non-Olympic year, w/o Worlds, the best would need to meet a couple of times to make it the best ever. Great years are about great races combined with great times, not just great times alone. What makes this year interesting, though, is the varied distances that people are doing (other than Powell). Powell and Wariner should do some 200's, and Spearmon should work on his start and do some 100's, or maybe try a 400. Likewise, that great 800 guy should try a 400, and Bekele should try everything from 200 up! Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
