Subject: RE: The Official "Solinsky: Admit you were shocked" thread Body: It was a monstrous field that year, Bobby Curtis, Ben True,Stephen Pifer, Tim Nelson, Garret Heath, Bobby Mack etc etc etc. and I believe Galen Rupp. Chris was up by well over a football field. Chris Solinsky looked so fresh, clear eyes, face fresh not a tint of flush. With about a mile to go I saw him give a little wave of his hand to some young children leaning out on the course and waving at him. The kids would run to another part of course trying to get him to wave at them again. Coaches were starting to scream "TELL HIM TO GO FOR THE RECORD!" Man he looked great and was very content.
