See how Webb ignores the pretty girl (3:36-3:55 of clip) trying to give him the flowers? Sideways, forwards, and backwards, trying to get away from her and keep from doing what any decent human being would do? It is only after the man comes up from behind him (3:55), and has all but cornered him in a bear hug with an American flag, that Webb appears to ready to do the right and take the flowers! And then there is the race itself. Notice the cowardly use of sit and kick tactics, waiting until the very homestretch to steal the victory. Whereas a real man, like Sam Chelanga, 25 year old Junior, awed the world by running away from teenage Chris Derrick from the very start of the 2009 NCAA XC championship. The contrast is stark.
