What should I expect when I get my teeth cleaned next Monday? Body: That's pretty insane (and disgusting). You must be from Alabama. Had a long period between visits like that myself when I was a student with no dental insurance and no income. But looking back, I don't know what was wrong with me. It's not more than about 80 bucks for a cleaning - easily worth it no matter how poor you are. I'm from Alabama, but there are not a lot of dentists per capita there - that's one reason I left.
