Definitely a good and promising race. Hopefully he can get back to the shape he was in last year and then some. He was seemingly invincible last year when he was on top of his game. 3:56(win), 7:47(win), USAxcJr(win), 3:55(win), NCAA 1500(win), 13:25 5k(not a win, but DAMN fast). About the only time he lost was when he was dealing with injuries or coming back from them, save for the USAs 5k, and to be running in the same race with guys like Solinsky and Teg at 18 years of age is a huge accomplishment itself (Jager is a super-talent as well).

Who knows how things will play out. With a high profile school like OSU there will always be critics (rightfully so at times), but given German's rapid improvement his freshman year, I think we can expect him to do even greater things there (as long as he stays healthy of course).

Good job, German.
