canadian sufferer looking for options
This is my 1st post after reading the entire thread. The fact that I found all my symptoms here and also solutions to my problem gave me hope.
I live in Canada.
Symptoms started around March 26th so almost 6 months since.
Sep 29th local MRI ordered by the local sports doctor – I’ll do it but I do not expect too much.
Monday Sep 28th I’m going to schedule an appointment with Dr. Brown Mtl (I heard from page 136 that Dr. Kosar Khwaja took over from him - i have no idea if it's true or not)
Oct 27th – MRI and appointment with Dr. Myers
I have an aunt that lives 120 km away from Munich where Dr.M’s clinic is. Asked her to call the clinic and get me as much info as she could.

I’m going to MTL anyways Oct 18-22 so why don’t let Dr. Brown see me? OHIP canadian governmental health insurance covers all.
Oct. 27th I’m getting another diagnostic from Dr. Myers which upon all the statements here it is going to be 100% accurate. ($1800 everything included - out of my pocket)
Knowing that I’m going to decide where and when to go and have surgery.
Options would be:
1. Dr. Brown (Dr. Khwaja ???) – I’d ask him to do it without mesh – OHIP covered – not ranked no. 1 or 2
2. Dr. M – cheaper than Dr. Myers-very high rate of success, commodities free (my aunt lives there) – to be paid out my pocket
3. Dr. Myers – the one that puts the diagnostic – very reliable but very expensive $15000 – paid out of my pocket

What do you think guys? I only want to get my diagnostic ASAP and then fix my problem.
Another question would be about what pre-op rehab should I do. I'm doing now some basic core (waiting for Core-X) and some adductor stretching (Boyle) plus adductor foam rolling (Boyle). Is that ok or/and enough?
