Hi Tiff, no Meyer would be the one that charges 40K, Dr M charges around 6K CAD$ , so im guessing the choice of which doctor is already made for me :)
I agree with you 100% , I am an SH suffer for two years and last year i did bikram yoga and it completely F*ed me up, i have been doing yoga since i was 15 and its one of my passions in life, so since that day i decided to just stick to gentle Hatha yoga which actually does help me alot, but some of the hip opening postures really hurt me but i removed them from my routine,
And i know what you mean by quality of life, i used to be out running and doing sports all the time and now im sitting home and my friends are out playing volleyball and enjoying the summer, i guess i have to go into debt, but that would still be fine if i knew it was going to surely help, imagine if i go to debt and get the surgery and after 2 months realize that im back to square 1? Its a big chance to take and in Canada im seeing a hip specialist who discouraged me from going, and basically called the people who do this surgery opportunists who make money and all they do is just cut people's nerves, i don't agree with him but thats enough to make you hesitate, and also the testimony of people who have not gotten better after surgery , what do you think? im am pretty confused :(
