Body:

well i feel like this thread relates to me in some way as this coming track season i want to break, 2 for 800m, 4 for 1500m, and 9 for 3000m.
but in the immediate future. (its winter, cross country season here in australia)
i want to break 20 minutes for 6k at my national cross country.
i managed to run 20:50 at state championships off basically no running for 2 weeks before it (hamstring tendonitis), still came 4th and managed to qualify for nationals somehow.
im 16.
anyways.
here's my last week of running.

sunday.
3000m race on the track, time of 9:48, splits, 3:02, 3:25, 3:21, basically started jogging after i went lactic.
one hour run an hour later when i got home.
18km total that day including w/up an w/down

wednesday
ran 55 mins at like 12pm.
6 x100m strides at 9pm on the oval. ranging from 17-15.2 secs

thursday
3km w/u.
ran session involving. 2 minute rep, 1 min rest, then 1 an half minute rep, one minute rep, followed by 1 minute rep followed by 1.5 mins rest. did this twice i felt bad, but i ran the reps fast.

friday. 2km . basically nothing. felt terrible.

saturday.
2 k w/u
4.2k dirt road race by myself was pretty hilly on the way out so i split 7:20 an ended with 14:38.
1.5k w/d.
