eddy, between races, you must train smarter than ever. That means training to maintain fitness not trying to improve fitness. So you don't need killer workouts between races, that is a recipe for disaster.
If you do your training between races in cruise mode, but at different paces you will continue to improve your race results.
Don't be a hero in training, any fool can do that, be a hero in racing.
