I thought about running, but I only have a few more opportunities for long runs before Boston. Pretty decent week, though I learned that while 2 mile intervals the day after an 15 miler feels good, they are much tougher after an 18 miler. Too much muscle breakdown to run fast. I still hit 11:06 and 11:00 with 2:30 recovery jog, and they felt good, but I was hurting the next day. Eased back into my schedule, did 10 at MP on Thursday, 7 miles with 6 in just over 35:00 on Friday, and 18.5 with a friend today. The 18.5 felt great, and I think we would have been knocking out 6:30s the last 5 if we hadn't had the Garmin to keep us honest. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
