First of all, it's an embarassment to the "organizers" of this miserably failed event, not to Indianapolis. As you said, this ensures that the "original" Indianapolis Marathon, in Lawrence, will continue to be the premiere Central Indiana fall marathon. I would hardly call that disappointing!
