jesus what IU people do you hang around? there are only a few programs at the school that place people in good jobs. however, i know a ton of IU alums that graduated and joined incoming corporate classes stocked with Ivy league kids. either way, IU is vastly superior academically to ISU. besides, most competent, talented IU grads leave indiana immediately upon graduation. that's the old 'brain drain' the state is always so worried about also, dude. the thing about the razor back tattoo was said to point out that its not like a gigantic accomplishment or some grand quest to run for indiana state. you werent really part of a glorious, storied program that warrants tattooing its emblem on your body forever. people wont think that's cool later in life.
