I am up to 2 1/2 miles every other day. I go to the doctor tomorrow so I\\\'ll let you know what he says. I have no pain at all down at the lower part of the insertion -- which was where all of my pain was before the surgery. I do have some pain in the tendon itself, up about an inch from where it used to hurt. I assume that is from starting to run and having my calf muscle so weak from inactivity.
