It's not being narrow minded, it's about keeping your 5 yr old child safe. At 5, kids are still learning to ride bicycles, they don't have enough experience or coordination to be adequately operating something that is capable of higher speeds. The risk factor is extremely high, but if that's how you and your kids want to live, so be it. Just my opinion though. Hit the submit button below if you want us to review the post.
