As a parent, I am 100% in favor of my 5 y.o. riding a motorcycle. It is sad that a terrible accident happened. But just because motorcycling is beyond your ability to comprehend please don't go judging others for how they live their life. I would be decimated if this happened to my little one but sometimes we've got to live life in spite of our fear of the consequences. Hopefully we mitigate the risks but nothing is 100% safe, not even cross country running. I, and my family will never be like you and yours but that doesn't make me any less loving of my family than you are. We both are living our lives in the way we need to in order to celebrate life. So I'll try not to judge you and maybe, just maybe, you try not to judge me. In the meantime, a fellow parent has just lost his 5 year old boy and I grieve for him and his family.
