If you are a competitive runner I suggest to have surgery for "compartment syndrom" done immediately. Rest, inserts,injections, ice, etc, etc, will do nothing to get rid of the problem...like putting a bandaid on a cut that needs stiches. It helps but nothing is going to get rid of the problem so that you can train and compete.

If you are just a jogger and enjoy running...take your time and try all the b.s.

I speak from experience. I was a competitive miler and spent the better part of 2 years trying all kinds of "cures". Surgery did it.
