Body: Actually there is a reason that I can't post my name. I signed a confidentiality agreement just like the entire committee was forced to. I will tell you that several sub committee people voiced a displeasure to New York because 1. It is too far away from the Games. 2. Friday does not work for families and it creates a lousy spectator situation. 3. The media will be far more interested in the bazillion other things that are going on in New York and therefore will not give the event the attention it deserves. 4. Central Park makes for a lousy criterium course. A few of these items were presented to the NYRR and their solution was simple. Here is $280,000 for your training centers.
