Elias Koech from UTEP ran 1:46.77 in 2008 at the Iowa State Classic meet. It was the leading time indoors for the 800m in the NCAA during 2008.
I guess you didn't get my point. We're talking about legitimate tracks. The IAAF doesn't recognize oversized tracks and NCAAs will hopefully never be held on one.
Oversized tracks are basically an admission by track programs that they are less important than a football practice facility.
We're looking for 200 or 200 banked tracks.
