What can you say about Pete's 5K other than 'Holy Crap!?!?!?
Didn't feel like a good week but I guess it was ok. 60 miles with a day off. Two workouts: Wed 4 mi Tempo in 23:16 and a Saturday progressive 13 in 1:23:30 (6:25/mi). Neither one felt very good. I'm just not feeling race ready...
But in my defense my body did take a serious butt kicking the past two weeks. I had a 2nd story roof tear-off & re-shingle job. By the end of the day I am completely wup'd and really don't feel like running. Nothing like cross training for 7 hours and then working out!
25K next weekend. Thank God I'm off the roof and have a nice easy indoor remodel project so my body should be able to fully recover this week...
