Most runners now are slow. They are very slow. In relative terms, 25:00 for 5k is semi-serious. There are a lot of 10:00 per mile and slower folks out there now. They pay their entry fees.
To combat message board spam (by non runners). We are making people answer a brief question before they can post on a thread that is over 20 days old.
