|Subject: ||New shoes, at an impasse|
So I've been transitioning to a more minimalist shoe over the past few months (my old shoes were Brooks Adrenaline GTS) and its time for a new pair of shoes. I've been running in an old pair of Brooks T4 racers and I love them. However, they're falling apart and probably wont last much longer. I tried the T7 Racer, but the toe box is much narrower and hence, its not very comfortable. What would you guys recommend? I'm looking for a flexible shoe that has minimal heel to toe drop, some cushioning and no motion control features. I've been hitting 50-60 mpw in my T4s and aside from some calf soreness, its felt great. I went to my local running shop and they didn't have much in my size, the only shoe I actually liked was the New Balance MR00 Mimimus but they didn't have anything in my size. I'd also prefer something with a little more cushioning if at all possible. Any suggestions? I tried the Saucony Progrid Kinvara and I liked it aside from it being a bit small and having this weird bump on the sole where my arch is located. I'm thinking about grabbing a pair because they're pretty cheap on amazon and if I end up not liking them just returning them. Anything I might be overlooking?
