The human body doesn't work that way. While I have no doubt that you physically injured yourself somehow, the injury has long since healed.
It only takes days/weeks for an injury to heal, including breaking the femur bone (6-8 weeks).
The remaining pain is caused by lack of oxygen to the affected area. Your brain is causing the lack of oxygen, not an injury. I speak from experience (10+ years of "plantar fasciitis" in both feet that went away after reading a book, and practicing stress release for a few weeks).
You have TMS and the cause is emotional. Every human being experiences TMS at some point:

The reason absurd crap like rolling a golf ball under your foot or walking on pebbles works is because you're actively fighting against what your brain is trying to do (oxygen depravation) by encouraging blood flow to the area. The solution is temporary at best for many people, but even if successful it does not address the cause (emotional). The pain will just move somewhere else, in time. Or you'll get different symphtoms like high blood pressure.
This is an excellent explanation:
Beware of advice from posters who make absurd claims like knowing what the cause is and how to treat it in 6 easy weeks, without so much as even a glance at your feet.
