You are a freshman right? Calm down. It is totally normal to have the kinds of issues you are having. Just back the edge off a bit in training, don't go so hard in your workouts, and don't agonize so much about beating high school times just yet. Most college freshmen don't get any faster their first year. Heck only about half manage to dodge major injuries.
To combat message board spam (by non runners). We are making people answer a brief question before they can post on a thread that is over 20 days old.
