Oh for fucks sake, just go out there and run. A little heat is not gonna kill you (but on the upside it might kill one of the fat penguins that got in on a charity ticket whom you all hate so much).
I've run 20 marathons. Mostly picked the races that had the best potential for fast times. Of the 20 races only 5 were run in dry weather with temps between 45 and 65 which is what I would consider good marathon conditions. I've done 3 Bostons, all of them above 70F. That's marathoning. The weather can be a bitch but you can't control it so get over it.
To combat message board spam (by non runners). We are making people answer a brief question before they can post on a thread that is over 20 days old.
