St. Louis really isn't very dangerous. The problem is that those statistics don't count the St. Louis metropolitan area for some reason (which they do for other cities), which makes it seem more dangerous. I didn't find any more crime than other major cities.
It may not be the biggest city in the world, but St. Louis is a pretty nice place. There are some cool neighborhoods, like the CWE, and a good amount of industry. You've got Boeing, AT&T, Monsanto, Anheuser Busch, Ameren, Scottrade, etc, all with major offices in/around the city.
To combat message board spam (by non runners). We are making people answer a brief question before they can post on a thread that is over 20 days old.
